Manolo's Memo # 1 - Introducing Manolo and Desnudo’s Biweekly Memos from the Farms

“My favorite books are "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and "The Count of Monte Cristo." I have a deep love for sports and outdoor hikes.”

How did I find my way to Desnudo, where I lead sustainability projects and build meaningful relationships with coffee farmers in Colombia?

I look back to when I practiced law in Bogotá, Colombia. At first, it was exhilarating and full of challenges, but gradually the work became less fulfilling. I thought about taking a leap, embarking on something new, and it filled me with joy and motivation to learn that my two cousins,

who are like brothers to me, were creating Desnudo Coffee.

Now I get to share the yields of our partner producers with you, along with their stories. Thank you for joining me in my memos. I'll be sending you an update every two weeks so that you can keep up with my projects and the farmers growing these incredible coffee varieties for Desnudo. I'll be in Austin for a few more weeks before returning to the farms, so please come say hello and let me know a little more about you too!

Con amor,

Manolo
